Isaac Scholes Center Parcs dream

Isaac is a brave 8-year-old boy from South Yorkshire who suffers from Lennox Gastaut Syndrome and is registered blind.

Lennox Gastaut syndrome (LGS) is a type of epilepsy with multiple different types of seizures, particularly tonic (stiffening) and atonic (drop) seizures.

When we received the application for a UK break for Isaac and his family, we jumped at the chance to support.

Despite some of the facilities not being available due to restrictions, after a year of lockdowns the family still appreciated having the opportunity to spend time together in a safe holiday environment.

Before the break, Isaac's mum said "All the children are really excited for the holiday. It's a shame the swimming pool is closed, but sure we'll make the most of it. Thank you to all at Create A Dream Foundation for being a big help with the arrangements".

During the break we appreciated receiving the following update and photos "It's been amazing, all my children have loved it and the weather has been lovely too."

I'm sure you’ll agree it's fantastic to see Isaac enjoying the lake and eating ice creams in the sun looks like the perfect way to relax between the bike rides and nature walks.

From everyone at Create A Dream Foundation, we wish Isaac and his family all the best in the future and would like to thank our fundraisers for making this dream experience possible.
